Marina says,"Actually, I won $800 the first night and then Brent jinxed me the second night and I gave most of it back. I'm never gambling with him again "
Marina says,"Actually, B3 I've always been interested in politics, I've even thought about getting involved more fully, I used to be involved with the Hollywood women's political committee but it was disbanded" (Mon 3:18pm)
Doree says,"Are you excited to be voting in your first Presidential election since becoming an American citizen?"
Fred27 says,"Why was the committee disbanded?"
Marina says,"I can't wait to vote this year, and I have to say that my husband never voted til he met me, and now he votes all the time"

Marina says,"It was disbanded because it became just about raising money for candidates and not about issues and because there were a lot of high powered Hollywood women, the candidates just wanted us to raise more and more money and we got disheartened"
Marina says,"No, I never met the Clintons, but the cast was invited to Washington by Al Gore"
Fred27 says,"Did you guys go? I met Al Gore in Hawaii on my honeymoon and he signed his book on ecology for me."

Marina says,"Yes, most of us went to Washington and I was on Politcally Incorrect 3 or 4 times "

Marina says,"Actually, Bill is very nice he's not quite as abrasive as he is on tv. He's very smart and we both support the same animal charities so he can't be all bad"
Doree says,"I know, surprise, but I saw your appearances on Politically Incorrect and I thought you did a great job. Was it hard to sometimes not say certain things, or to just let some ideas just pass, or did you speak your mind on everything asked/said?"

Doree says,"Did you know what the topic(s) was before going on the show?"
Marina says,"I basically said whatever I wanted to say, but usually there were comedians on there who were trying to generate work so it was hard to get a word in. I did get bleeped occassionally"
Marina says,"Yes, they tell you what the topics are usually the night before or the day of the show"
Marina says,"I would love to meet Bill and Hillary Clinton, and Jimmy Carter"

Marina says,"Actually in the first season of TNG we hated each other. In the hiatus my brother came to visit and wanted someone to play tennis with so I asked Dorn. When they had finished their game they came back to the house and I cooked dinner and spoiled them at which point Dornie's face said, where's Marina and what have you done with her? I like this person. And the rest as they say is history "
